Ken Brousseau

Kenneth R. Brousseau, Ph.D.

Kenneth R. Brousseau is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Decision Dynamics LLC, a firm specializing in behavior profiling and human resource systems design. Dr. Brousseau received his Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Yale University. Prior to forming Decision Dynamics, he was on the faculty of the Management and Organization department at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California.

Ken specializes in behavioral assessment systems for purposes of management selection, performance management, career advisement and executive team coaching. He is the author of numerous articles on career development, work system design, team development, and organizational design which have appeared in Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Performance, the Academy of Management Review, the Academy of Management Executive, and the Journal of Organizational Change Management. He is the co-author of The Dynamic Decision Maker.

Over the past thirty years, Ken has consulted for a variety of public and private organizations, such as NASA, ARCO, ABB, Educational Testing Service, Federal Aviation Administration, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Northern Telecom, United Parcel Service, GlaxoSmithkline Pharmaceuticals, Home Depot, The Aerospace Corporation, Rockwell International, Sigma Alimentos, S.A., and Western Digital Corporation.

Several years ago, Ken and his colleagues completed one of the world’s largest studies of executive success using a global database consisting of several hundred thousand assessed managers and executives. The study was published in the Harvard Business Review in February, 2006.

Ken is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
